Coed Glas Primary School

Vision statement

Coed Glas Primary School is a community united in providing all our children with ‘roots to grow and wings to fly’.

We strongly believe that this vision is the driving force each and everyday.  We want all of our children to develop strong ‘roots’ for learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

We will create opportunities for all of our children to develop their own ‘wings’ of creativity, independence, confidence and an enjoyment of learning.

We strive to deliver three core principles:

  • Excellent teaching

  • Excellent learning

  • Excellent provision

In addition, our children have agreed on their own principles which they strive to achieve each day:

  • We smile and say ‘bore da / prynhawn da’

  • We always help each other

  • We care for everyone and everything

  • We keep ourselves safe and healthy

  • We do our best and challenge ourselves
